A coastal run to Maine and back to Marblehead honoring Michael A Mentuck for his contributions to sailing and the Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race.

July 7-10, 2022

Update 6/27 - We are sorry to report that the Michael A Mentuck Memorial Race will not be run this year. We discovered that a higher-than-normal density of this years racing schedule created an increased competition for sailors to participate in many of the premier races throughout the northeast. Due to this, we encountered a lower than anticipated number of registered boats this year, and it was the committee’s feeling that the level of participants did not justify holding the race.

About

The  250 mile course stays closer to shore to make it more accessible than races further offshore.

We're cooking up a phenomenal race which will send sailors to Matinicus Rock off the coast of Maine. The start is Thursday evening July 7th so we can finish back at the Boston Yacht Club for a great awards party on Sunday.
